Kylie Hoffman

Kylie is originally from Victoria and has a successful background as a motel and retail manager. Known for being compassionate, empathetic and a great listener, Kylie takes pride in supporting families with sensitivity and care through every step of their journey. She is deeply drawn to the unique customs and traditions within the industry and appreciates that no two days are ever the same. When not at work, Kylie enjoys exploring Far North Queensland, whether it’s discovering hidden waterfalls, relaxing on the beach or trying new local restaurants.

Patrick Vandenbroek

Patrick grew up in Cairns and proudly traces his heritage to Mabuiag Island in the Western Torres Strait. With a background in tourism, Patrick brings strong people skills, cultural understanding and a calm, respectful presence to his role in the funeral industry. He finds deep meaning in being able to care for his community, especially in honouring local traditions and customs that hold great cultural significance. Outside of work, Patrick loves spending time with his family, especially his son. He also enjoys refereeing touch football and teaching Torres Strait Islander traditions to younger generations. Assisting families allows Patrick to give back in a way that is both personal and deeply valued.

Jane Donnelly

Jane has a strong background in customer service management, bringing empathy, professionalism and a deep commitment to people-focused care. She regularly supports families from diverse cultural backgrounds and understands the importance of honouring each individual’s traditions with compassion and respect. Outside of her role, Jane enjoys long, relaxed lunches with friends in the beautiful tropics of North Queensland. When she’s not supporting families or soaking up the sunshine, you’ll likely find her on the sidelines, proudly cheering on her kids at their sporting events.

Shane Clohesy

A proud Cairns local for over 35 years, Shane brings passion and dedication to everything he does. As a previous restaurant owner and chef, Shane spent years combining skill with creativity in the kitchen. With a unique appreciation for the funeral industry, Shane has embraced the career change and values the meaningful variety caring for families offers, saying “Every day is different and every family deserves something personal.” Outside of work, Shane enjoys swimming, diving, marine fish and corals – a reflection of his connection to the ocean.

Trent Lloyd

A Cairns resident for over 25 years, Trent brings local knowledge and a warm, approachable nature to his role in the funeral industry. With a background in sales, Trent has developed strong communication skills and a genuine ability to connect with people during difficult times. He is passionate about guiding families every step of the way and providing meaningful, personal farewells for their loved ones. Outside of work, Trent enjoys fishing, rugby league and making the most of Far North Queensland’s beautiful outdoors.

Talei Hewett

Talei Hewett is a skilled embalmer whose roots trace back to a rich Polynesian and Melanesian upbringing. Born in Papua New Guinea and having lived in Fiji, she brings a deep, lived understanding of Pacific Islander traditions and cultural values to her work. Her sensitivity to the spiritual and cultural significance of death rituals makes her a compassionate and respectful presence in her field. Talei’s approach is grounded in empathy, dignity, and a strong connection to the communities she serves.

Greg Condon

Originally from New Zealand, Greg is backed by a practical, hands-on approach developed during his earlier career as a roofer. Known for his strong work ethic and calm presence, Greg values the dynamic nature of his role, where each day brings a new opportunity to support families with care and dignity. Outside of work, Greg enjoys spending time with his partner and restoring classic cars, hobbies that help him relax and recharge for the meaningful work he does every day.

Elliot Tavcar

Originally from Melbourne, Elliot specializes in back-of-house operations and funeral services. As a previous chauffeur car business owner Elliot honed his logistical skills and attention to detail. He finds fulfillment in providing families with respectful, professional service during challenging times, ensuring their needs are met with care. Outside of work, Elliot enjoys exploring Far North Queensland’s creeks and waterfalls, fishing, and attending live music events – activities that help him maintain balance and inspire his compassionate approach to the job.

John Sankey

John was born in Dalby, Queensland and grew up in a musical family where creativity has always been the driving force. He began playing drums at the age of 13, and after finishing school moved to the Gold Coast, then Los Angeles for a full-time career as a recording and touring drummer. In 2016, John returned to Australia in search of a new challenge and made a successful transition into the funeral industry where he has held various roles in Brisbane, Northern NSW and Melbourne. In 2022 John accepted a Management position in Far North Queensland. The move has been an extremely rewarding chapter in his life, offering new challenges and a deep sense of purpose.
